The Tullamore Court Hotel in County Offaly is situated on O Moore St. on the Portlaoise road. It is a 5 minute walk to the town centre and situated only a 5 minute walk from the Tullamore train station.

We had a lovely few days in tullamore court hotel only down side was tge service in the bar food wasn't a great selection on the menu and took very long to get service but the welcome we got on arrival was 5star and to ladies on reception were amazing Maree OBrien was exceptional thanks

Lovely hotel but bar service very poor. Tables not cleared off, had to ask someone to take our food order, 30 mins after eating plates still on the table and no order for dessert enquiry. Definitely no manager on duty! Kids got a lovely little gift bag on arrival, which included vouchers for free crisps/drinks at the bar, the barmen knew nothing about them! Nice selection for breakfast and kids enjoyed the pool.
I attended a wedding at the hotel last Thursday and I have to say everything about the hotel was absolutely amazing food was delicious and room was spacious. There was a young man serving cocktails and beer after the ceremony and the cocktail was amazing he told me it was gin and raspberries I would love the recipe for it ???? the man that checked me in was lovely and really friendly we would definitely be back ahlgain for a visit ????
Exception hotel with the most helpful and friendliest of staff. We could not have asked for more for our stay. The staff were so lovely to our little ones they really made our stay so special. The welcome packs for children went down a treat. The carvery was so delicious as was our evening meal in the bar. Great value as well. The breakfast was out of this world. We can't wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay in Tullamore Court Hotel. Staff were lovely, room perfect & food good. We think their online documents need to be updated though as the breakfast menu does not indicate that it's self service & I'm not sure if everything on the menu was available. Also, the drinks menu did not reflect the price we paid for a pint of Guinness & a pint of Peroni. It was much more expensive than stated on menu. Other than that our stay was great.
I have stayed in Hundreds of hotels all over the world and I can safely say this is the first hotel that if you want to have a drink after 11.30 at night you have to walk in to the town.Do not book this hotel if you like to have a couple of pints after11.30 during the week or 1.30 at the weekend.No residents bar, no room service, how this has a 4 star rating is beyond me.
First .time to stay there it was a lovely clean hotel only draw back was lack of staff & the food wasn't a good selection .overall I would recommend it .I would go back.

Travelled with small kids and we were welcomed at reception with gift bags for the kids and tokens for small treats. Was a lovely touch. Family room was also top quality, super impressed by it. Only reason not to give a 5 rating was the bar food menu is a bit limited. Overall definitely recommend this hotel for a family break.

The staff in the Tullamore Court Hotel are very friendly and helpful. We had the use of their sensory bedroom during our stay and it was clear how much thought and effort had went into the planning of this. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the prices for the evening menu etc was very reasonable. We will definitely return.
Stayed here for one night for my friends birthday. Check in was easy and efficient with a friendly receptionist greeting us, I think her name was Courtney, a blonde girl she was very nice. The hotel has been done up in the last few years and it has a lovely lobby, bar and restaurant and outdoor Courtyard area. The bedroom was nice and modern with a little fridge which was really handy for drinks etc and spotless clean. Breakfast the next day was excellent with such a good choice, they even had blue cheese and olive's and Parma ham! We went out for dinner but came back later on for some drinks before bedtime and there was a good atmosphere in the bar. All staff were very helpful and efficient and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again well done all in the Tullamore Court Hotel.

Lovely hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool and sauna etc perfect. Continental breakfast was fab. Cooked buffet breakfast was a bit of a let down but would stay again.
nice food very good staff problem on last night of our stay with children runing around corridor banging on doors this was not stoped by secureity and lasted till 1 30 am no sleep with long journey next day not acceptable

It was a break for my mother whose 85 so she was very happy with it so once she’s happy we’re all happy.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was gorgeous and would definitely recommend and will stay again when visiting Tullamore.

Bar menu wasnt a great selection but still able to pick something. Minor detail for us is that the room could do with a painting. Bathroom could be updated. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel. Location is great, just 5 minutes walk into town. Staff are excellent, especially the lifeguard in the gym, she was very informative about how all the stuff works in the pool. Breakfast was great also, staff here were very good too.

Check in was supposed to be at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready. It was really stressful having 2 small kids running around reception and trying to entertain them after a drive from Dublin. Girl from reception gave them some crayons and colouring pages to try entertain them as she could see we were struggling, which was really nice of her. All the hotel staff were so friendly, nearly every staff member stopped for a friendly chat. My 5 year old was delighted with the kids club despite being the only child to turn up to it on the first night, the girls running it were great. Food in the bar restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, as was the breakfast buffet both mornings. They made pancakes for my 5 year old and brought them out to her, she was in her element. I have to say the one thing that really stood out was how helpful and friendly all the staff were, they really went above and beyond. Thanks for a great midterm break stay ????

This is a beautiful hotel. It's staff are very friendly and very helpful. There food is delicious and plentiful with very quick service. The bedroom's are very comfortable and spacious. The hotel in very well located just a short walk to the town . There's plenty of free parking at the Tullamore court hotel..
Hi hotel was excellent. The one thing that was an issue was the extra charge for kids breakfast. When I asked about it, the hotel said it is in the small print on your website. I could not find it so think this needs to be made clearer on the website at time of booking.

This hotel is nice with great staff, the food and atmosphere is very good, the family rooms are nice and spacious, issues are that the food is abit pricy and that the pool and changing rooms are a big let down for this hotel, major upgrade required here
Staff were very friendly, hotel was nice. Great set up for food in the bar. We had lunch and dinner in the bar - very tasty and fast! Dessert was quite poor and tasteless - we had a sticky toffee pudding to share. I had booked a twin room in error instead of a double room, reception were very accommodating and changed to an available room which was a family room - the room was very basic but clean and quiet! We went for breakfast at 10.30am and what was on offer was very poor. I understand it was late in the morning however if breakfast bookings are until 10.30 there should be a good variety of food for all of breakfast service.
All staff super lovely. Was overcharged when checking in but didnt distube it at time so not here to complain about it. Had a lovely break with my little boy. All staff from reception to swimming pool to the accommodation were all so super lovely qnd helpful. Would defintley recommend and or visit again.

Check in and check is very quick. I'd definitely be back to stay again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved the hotel. It was clean snd good facilities. The staff we nice and friendly snd the swimming pool was a hit with the kids. Unfortunately the staff in the bar were not very attentive to us when we were eating there. Lots of staff standing around the bar area not servicing diners. I had to go up to the bar myself to get drinks during dinner. There seemed to be only one waitress on the floor while the rest stood by the til chatting. Also food not great. Burger was very uncooked even though I asked for it well done.
Room was excellent and so was the food. Leisure centre and pool were great, kids loved swimming. Would recommend with no hesitation.

Restaurant is very dear and not a lot of options on the menu. There is a picture of a playground on their website which is misleading as there is no playground. I was charged extra to switch to a Friday night even though on the lidl site the rooms were available for the same price as the Thursday. No mention of a supplement on the lidl site.

Travelled with kids age 4 and 9 they enjoyed their stay but my youngest only ate coco pops each morning for breakfast so worked out payed nearly €7 x 5 days for cereal as you pay up front for kids breakfast. The also didn't like the evening food as mine are fuss so ate out after the first night. But staff and hotel were all great, room was quite big family room. Will stay again.

My husband and I had stayed in the hotel previously and found the stay to be very enjoyable. On this occasion our experience was not so good. We were in a room which had a connecting door to the next room. The person in the next room was unfortunately very loud and we could hear his entire conversation for over an hour. which was not ideal at 1.00 in the morning. When we checked in we were told the only breakfast time was 8.15 so we decided to have breakfast delivered to our room. When the breakfast had not arrived by 9.45 my husband checked the breakfast request had been taken from the door and unfortunately it had not. My daughters were in an other room and they did not receive cutlery with their breakfast or milk. The restaurant did facilitate us and the breakfast was most enjoyable. The receptionist enquired if we enjoyed our stay I said there were a few issues she said she would get a manager to call us which has never happened.
Hotel very modern and spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food is excellent, particularly enjoyed the variety for breakfast. Kids club from 5 to 9pm , ran excellently our kids couldn’t wait to go into it.
The hotel was just fantastic. Nothing was any trouble for any of the staff. Our mother was celebrating her 70th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the experience great with Covid protocols maintained but not the focus of our family dinner. Ellie was our waitress and was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was any trouble. Food was great at dinner and breakfast. Pool area great and immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend for a short break at any time of year.
Booked 4 family rooms we were a family of 15 we had a brilliant stay food, hotel and staff were fantastic hotel is spotless clean.
It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we had stayed at the hotel as part of our honeymoon and family weekends away over the years. The hotel tickets all the boxes, convenient location, leisure facilities, great food and super friendly staff. We also felt safe during our stay as the hotel adhered to the Covid guidelines without being intrusive. We were a large group 10 traveling together due to covid rules we had to be seated with max number 6 but were accommodated at both dinner and breakfast with tables close together which was great. All bed rooms were on the same floor. reception staff we great at sorting this. Would stay again

Really pleasant stay in the Midlands. Stayed with 2 children. They loved the pool facilities. We had an unexpected bonus with an evening kids club that runs from 5 to 9. The girls were fantastic here and even my 10 year old son wanted to go back. You could drop just for part of the time and they were very flexible. Breakfast was nice, they bring an tiered plate for pastries etc, only complaint is that these are pre made and are the same if u are 2 adults or a family with 4 kids. Room was nice, clean and covid friendly
Great 2 night stay, Liz on check in was great, friendly and informative. There was a kids club which was a nice touch, great to have a few hours free to enjoy dinner while the kids were entertained. Friendly staff, nice leisure area and courtyard to sit outside for a drink. Good location to explore many attractions within 30 mins drive. We would definitely return.
We had an absolute ball at your hotel on Monday and Tuesday of this week. My kids (3) loved the room, swimming and of course the kids club. From the moment we checked in (David) was so nice and informative. The pool was amazing and so well done. This is a nice modern hotel. It was very clean and they adhered to Covid 19 procedures. The bedroom I got was very clean and the bed was very comfortable for a nights sleep. The food in the hotel is very good and the service was excellent. A special recommendation to Karolina on reservations/check in desk who made the check in experience seamless. Thank you I will be back again soon for another visit, and I would recommend to family and friends.

Nice hotel With friendly staff. Check in was difficult As Phones kept ringing, Also staff did not realise that my booking was with lidl and I had paid a deposit. Food was nice However drink was expensive, Bottle of prosseco €35! The downside was family room uncomfortably warm with no a/c so go no sleep & ended up checking out early.

With the b&b deal it was good value for money. coffee is desperate by any standards. Due to restrictions we booked pool, dinner and breakfast prior to arrival, On arrival no access to pool, breakfast time changed. On going for dinner they had no reservation and we ate dinner in the bar beside a bunch of men at a race night( they had great craic) Not what we expected when we booked to go to dinner inside!!!!
Great hotel really enjoyed our stay
Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the swimming pool was under maintenance at the time of our visit but we were able to use the local leisure centre which was only 3 minutes drive away. We will definitely be back to stay again.

This was booked for my parents who have been to many many hotels over the years. They were absolutely delighted with their trip, thought the hotel was fab & couldn't have been more complementary of the staff. They were a little worried about going away during Covid but they felt the hotel was really safe. On foot of their trip, we have booked a trip there & can't wait.

The hotel room wasn't very clean with cobwebs above the window the toilet floor wasn't clean. The service was a disaster altogether. The high chair was filty. The breakfast was cold on a hot plate. We asked for a bowl of hot water to make our toddler breakfast. After the fourth time of asking we gave up.
Excellent hotel ( perfect distance from Dublin - 1 hours drive)- lovely leisure-centre and gym-very welcoming reception and excellent breakfast- lots to do around Tullamore- ( 10 mins walk to town centre and 15 mins walk to Tullamore Dew Visitors centre)- walked the canal from Tullamore to Ballycommon( 8km) on Day 1- pub owner Gerry opened pub for us (family group of 6 adults)- very welcoming- nice guiness and warm stove- then on Day 2 we did 5km looped walk starting at Kinnity Castle( 20 mins drive) car park- very nice lunch in Kinnity Castle afterwards- good selection of restaurants/coffee shops in Tullamore and the hotel restaurant and bar food good too.- Value breaks worked out good value as we had 3 rooms booked and would be much more expensive if we booked directly with the hotel
Great stay for a family weekend away! The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our group of 16 people, entertainment nightly in the bar and a nice atmosphere means we would definitely go back again.
Beautiful Hotel and great staff. The only down fall is that the rooms at the front of the hotel are very noisy due to traffic.

Really nice family break. Pool/ gym clean and not too busy. Room reasonably sized considering we had 2 children, never felt too cramped. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning. Overall can't complain and would definitely consider returning.
Went to the Tullamore Court Hotel for a ladies weekend away recently and had a wonderful time. Everything in the hotel was fantastic from the staff who were so kind and helpful,to the facilities in the hotel .We had live music in the bar both nights we were there and a top of the range leisure centre, so it ticked all the boxes for us. Spent two nights here recently, Very helpful staff, nice spacious rooms 2 adults 2 teens, swimming pool and gym. food was excellent and location was great, just a short walk into the town centre, would recommend it to others and definitely visit again.
Very nice hotel in a good central location. Two night stay in an executive room. Plenty of space for two adults and two children. Nice touches in room e.g. speakers in the bathroom linked to the sound system, walk in shower, Jacuzzi bath etc. Staff very friendly and breakfast buffet had a great selection.

Greeted by 2 very friendly receptionists. Very happy with our overnight stay we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast in bed after a brilliant party night downstairs the night before well done!!

We have stayed at this hotel on a few previous occasions and have enjoyed the experience, this time we only stayed one night which was St Patrick's day/night, again we enjoyed our stay, the only negative was there was no entertainment , as it was St Patrick's night.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the facilities where very good, and it was a clean and pleasent environment, if I was to complain it would be to say that the batteries had drained on the door lock and they were not replaced, meaning we had to get staff to let us into our room, but it was not a problem and the staff were pleasent and helpful. I would stay again.
The Hotel was in a good location just a few minutes from town centre. Our room was very spacious modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. we were made feel very welcome on our arrival. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was covered from continental to a full Irish. We would definitely stay there again.

My kids loved the pool and we had great activities nearby, particularly belvedere house and birr castle, and it is just a stroll to the town centre. Would highly recommend it for a family break
A very good hotel. Their Leisure Facilities are excellent. Kids are allowed in the pool up to 8pm which is great. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Its a great location at the top of the town, only an hour drive from Dublin, you can easily park up your car and walk to the town. There is a lovely play park around the corner. Tullamore is also served well by trains and Bus Eireann and a private bus service also. Definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.

We had such a fabulous stay. The room was gorgeous and it had an extremely central location. We were thrilled with the service that we received and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We will without a shadow of a doubt be back, thank you for an amazing stay!! Úna and Brian x
The hotel staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough to help. We enjoyed our meal, the swimming pool was great and the room was as expected. Tip for reservations though: don't put a family with small kiddies beside the elevator! They hear all the late night revelers and no one gets to sleep!

An enjoyable stay. The hotel was very clean and welcoming and the pool was top class. We only had lunch in the bar, but the food was good although there was a lack of variety. Any issues we had - we stayed the day of the Kilkenny-Galway reply - such as noise, were dealt with quickly by the hotel. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of fresh food and great variety. The location was also ideal. I would recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay in Tullamore Court Hotel. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with, especially the reception and the staff on breakfast duty. We had dinner in the bar which was excellent and a great choice on the menu. The leisure facilities also excellent and pool facilities very clean. One small point which I mentioned to the pool attendant. The water jets in the pool are very powerful. We were entertaining ourselves getting back massages! however we noticed later that going close to the jets for any length of time damaged the lycra in our swimsuits leaving noticeable faded patches.
2 adults, 2 children we had a great stay. Bar food for evening meal was delicious. Rooms very nice. Kids loved Jacuzzi! Breakfast beautiful and service excellent. Our only complaint was the rooms were far too hot but the weather is so good right now - I cant really blame the hotel. We will definitely be going back. Loved it.
My Husband and I stayed here for two nights this week and we loved it. Its rare in larger hotels to find staff who are so upbeat and committed. It was a wet Sunday afternoon when we arrived and the hotel was justifiably busy with locals seeking their Sunday lunch. Despite this we were handled efficiently and pleasantly at check in. The room was large and very clean with everything we needed. Okay the view overlooking the local petrol station wasn't ideal but we didn't choose a hotel in a market town for post card scenes. The breakfasts were just right. Enough variety but without waste. I stuck to the fresh fruit and yogurt of which there was plenty followed by a succulent piece of haddock so good I had it again the second night. My husband went the more traditional route of cornflakes followed by poached eggs....done just right. Our stay included an evening meal. If there was anything a bit disappointing it was this. Its services in a no frilled bistro type setting in the bar....no table cloth for example. The set menu was limited and the food was well cooked but unimaginative. My starter was a bacon ceasar salad... a very strange concoction overloaded with slices of crispy bacon on lettuce and dressing with exactly three croutons. I was glad my husband didn't have a starter as I got him to take some of the bacon off my hands. He had the grilled salmon main course with mashed potatoes and veg...alright I suppose but really something you'd get together yourself of a weekday evening at home. I opted for the thai green curry which again was only okay.....the sauce was very runny. Alcohol in general was a little on the pricey side but the bar and especially the foyer were excellent for just chilling out which is exactly what we wanted. There were children in the hotel when we arrived but they certainly didn't seem to be anywhere that bothered us in our room. Unfortunately on this occasion I didn't have the chance to visit the leisure facilities. Overall I think this is a good hotel with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Maybe check out somewhere else if you want a special evening meal. The location is super for exploring the midlands, Clonmacnoise (40 mins away by car) , Charville Castle (5 mins) and the Slieve Bloom mountains (35 mins) are all well worth visiting

Stayed at the Tullamore Court Hotel last weekend with my husband and we had a very nice relaxing time. The hotel is fabulous, huge big reception on arrival and rooms very spacious and spotless. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful they really do know how to do customer service well ! Hotel is only about 15 min stroll down to the center of things, pubs, restaurants, shops..... would definitely stay here again and recommend to others....

Stayed here midweek, myself and my Husband. We were attanding Andrew Maxwell so who was on in the Hotel. The hotel itself is lovely, nice and clean and it was nice to have a small beauty Parlor. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly too. The big downside to this hotel and to me is the deal breaker is the very poor quality of the Food. I have to say we found the food terrible. The restaurant was closed the night we were there so we had to eat in the lounge which just serves the usual fare that they serve every where else. My husband hard GArlic mushrooms which lacked any garlic taste and he had to smother in salt just to give it any flvour. For mains we both had the Fish and chips which on the Menu states fresh cod and HOME cut fries. Well it was far from fresh fish and the chips were terrible frozen/chilled chips and the biggest insult was the mushy peas which were proccessed tinned peas. We didnt ebven eat it and rather then ask us why the waiter just took our plates no questions asked. My husband was very irate as he is a chef and couldnt belive so called chef would be happy to serve up this food and wanted to complain but i wasked him not to make a scene. Its such a shame as i said the hotel itself is really nice so if they could up there game in the food end this would be worthy of the 4 satrs it states to be.. Without going into further detail the cooked breakfast was also terrible, so much so that we couldnt eat it. I mean i dont mind sinmple food if its done well but to our minds no pride or care is taken in the food served here so for that reason i wouldnt return to this particular hotel as for me food qaulity is of utmost importance during a hotel stay..
Hotel is a little tired and in need of some TLC in places. Overall a nice hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. Bar was a bit pricey but bar food was nice (more restaurant food than bar food). Our room was on the first floor which we found very noisey. When we mentioned this to Rebecca on the morning we were checking out she asked for the manager to speak to us who was very apologetic and understanding and made a reduction to out bill. We would definitely stay again.

First of all I found the group scheme booking process seamless and efficient. I cannot say the same for many other deals websites so well done Airport Group Scheme team. As for the Tullamore Court Hotel - they were a joy to stay with. The staff were incredibly helpful and resourceful. We had knock on our door both evenings to ask if everything was ok - I can honestly tell you in all my travelling years I have NEVER experienced that customer service from another hotel. The Deputy General Manager was so helpful and pleasant in a discreet way - she stopped my mother to take her suitcase from her and walked with us all the way to our bedroom even though we had not requested assistance. We will most certainly be back. Our only criticism (and I hate to add a negative) was that there wasn't a more secluded bar area to enjoy after dinner - the bar and restaurant are one open area that was very busy all day and evening - it would have been nice for residents to have a closed off area for a quiet drink.
