The Hotel is situated on the river Suir with a relaxing riverside Terrence area and yet only 2 minute walk from Waterford City Centre. Offering a great location & yet be just a short walk from Waterfords pubs, clubs & shopping areas. For bookings of 10 or more people this hotel will need a rooming list 10 days before arrival and a deposit of 200 euro at check in.

Had a great weekend in the Waterford Marina. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spotless. Food delicious. Entertainment on Sat night very good.

my family stayed at the marina hotel for the may day weekend, we were celebrating my 60th birthday, The staff were exceptional they went above and beyond their duty to ensure we were well looked after, We have stayed in many hotels throughout the country but none compare to this one for comfort and cleanliness. The food in both the bar and restaurant was excellent, we most definitly will be returning for another stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about a break in the south east you will not be dissapointed. Thanks again to all the staff who looked after us so well.

We arrived on the 26th of April 2012, we had a brillant time in Waterford which was mainly helped with staying in the Waterford Marine Hotel, staff are lovely, we stayed for 3 nights with breakfast inculded, which was also love too, rooms are spotless, couldn't give out about anything and would defo stay there again :-)

the hotel was very centrally located, rooms were very big and clean. the staff were really friendly and very helpful. we only ate breakfast there and it was cvery nice and fresh. i woudl definitely recommend this hotel to others. my only issue and its a personal one, was the toileteries weren't good didn't like the shower gel/hand soap/shampoo combi in the bathroom.

The hotel is very nice with warm friendly staff and clean if small rooms. We were well looked after, the breakfast was very satisfying and even though the hotel was quite busy the staff were helpful and attentive. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

We had a great weekend in this hotel. Entertainment on both nights very good. Rooms were lovely and spacious. Food was very tasty. Staff were very helpful. Parked up the car for weekend and walked everywhere. Everything is close by. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed for one night and had a very pleasent experience. The rooms were clean and the bathroom had everything we needed. We ate in the Bar and the food was good and the staff friendly. Would recomment it.

What can I say about this hotel? We stay here quite a lot and it has never been a let down. The rooms are always clean and fresh, the food is great and the staff are fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Waterford.

The hotel itself was adequate , the staff were friendly and helpful but when me and my boyfriend stayed there it was particularly windy and we were kept awake all night with the noise of the roof (we were on the top floor) although the weather is out of the control of the hotel staff I still feel this hotel could make some other small improvements for ex: Separate Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash instead of a generic dispenser on the wall of the shower which was not of the standard I would expect in a hotel.

We had a thorughly enjoyable stay at the Marina, location of the hotel is great as it is just a short walk to the shops, and would really recommend the restaurant food as its very reasonably priced.

Enjoyed my stay in the Hotel. Soap/Shampoo dispenser in bathroom was not working properly and the control lever for shower was broken. Towels in bathroom were very small for showering. Food was good though at dinner we had to ask for more veg and fries as the portions were not adequate. Service was good also.

After reading a lot of great reviews before booking I must say I was quite disappointed with this hotel. I will admit that the staff were very nice and the food and wine we got for dinner was lovely but I don't think I'd be staying in this hotel again, when there is a much nicer hotel very close by. Very dreary looking from the outside and very very basic hotel inside. A lot of improvements in decor could be made to improve the overall rating of this hotel. Also was quite disappointed that we had to have our dinner in the bar as the restaurant wasn't opened. Would not have booked this hotel if I knew I'd be having dinner in the bar.

Myself and husband and son (aged 7) were really pleased with our stay at the Marina Hotel. This was our first time to stay at the hotel. Our room was very bright, clean and extra spacious. Staff were fantastic - really friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel was really good and very good value also. The hotel was ideally located, with the city centre just a short walk away and Tramore a 20 minute drive in the opposite direction. There was also a lovely park across the road from the Hotel with two fantastic playgrounds for the kids - they really enjoyed this. All in all we had a fantastic break and would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends. We will definitely be back soon. See you all next time and thanks for a lovely stay. Norma

Stayed at this hotel with my sister for two nights on 28th october and found the hotel very good the staff are very helpful and friendly there is car parking available and the bar and restrauant have a good menu and the food is excellent we had a lovly meal on the saturday night for 50euro including a bottle of wine would go back there again as it's only a short walk into waterford city our room was quiet big and very clean and airy facing the river well done to all the staff keep up the good work Barbara

Lovely hotel this is the second time i have booked this hotel for a short weekend break through lidel breaks.The staff were excellent, rooms basic but very clean . Breakfast and evening meals were very good ,could not find any faults Would recommend this hotel .

Good hotel in a central location location in Waterford with secure parking, rooms are clean and bathroom spotless. Breakfast and dinners are very good staff too are efficient and helpful and I must say that it is good to have locals as staff it is easier to converse and understand what they are saying. I would recommend this hotel to anyone whether for a short break or a longer holiday.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff very friendly. Food very nice. Room very spacious, comfortable and clean. Secure car parking. 10min walk from city centre. Only drawback I have was that even though our room was on the 3rd floor we could still hear a lot of noise from the bar on ground floor (which did not finish until 3am on both our nights stay).

Stayed with my Mother(82) for 1 night on 19th of September. Found the hotel excellent value. The food was top class,both our dinner and breakfast,I am a Coeliac and had requested a Glutin feree menu,no problem in this regard,had glutin free bread,great service. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly reccommend a visit,Angela Hunter.

We had a very enjoyable 2 night break in Waterford Marina hotel. I would say it is 3 stars+. The bed linen were crisp white cotton & the towels were white & fluffy. We found the staff to be very friendly & helpful.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location with exceptional staff who do their utmost to make the stay as pleasurable as possible. The food is top quality at a very reasonable price. I cannot praise this hotel enough.

They must be doing something right because we keep coming back. The location is great. Nice for a quiet relaxing break yet only a stone throw from the shops of Waterford. A good base for exploring the area. Good food, clean rooms, helpful staff and secure car parking. Excellent value for money. A riverside haven. What more could you want.

Our room was very bright, clean and extra spacious. As before, staff were fantastic - really friendly and helpful, and they gave the children bread and toast each morning at breakfast to feed the swans and ducks in the river outside the hotel breakfast room. Food in the hotel was really good and very good value also. The hotel was ideally located, with the city centre just a short walk away and Tramore a 20 minute drive in the opposite direction. There was also a lovely park across the road from the Hotel with two fantastic playgrounds for the kids - they really enjoyed this. This hotel is absolutely fab. I have 3 children and we stayed in this hotel last year as well. The breakfast is lovely with a great choice of food and after breakfast the children were given bread and toast that was left over to go outside and feed the swans, which the kids love to do. Every morning and evening there is a complimentary newspaper and the staff couldn't be nicer. This hotel if very child friendly. The rooms are very big and very clean. My kids cant wait to go back again next year and they didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.

Fantastic stay in the Waterford Marina Hotel. The Set dinner menu had plenty of choice and the food was fantastic. We were in a party of 26 and the hotel staff couldnt have been nicer. Would recommend this hotel for best value around....... EK

Excellent hotel for a shopping or sightseeing break in the winter or summer. Rooms clean and big and good view of river. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's so nice to be served by Irish staff. Breakfast lovely, especially hot breakfast cooked to order. Dinner ok - basic bar food. Good value hotel.

Myself and the wife stayed in the Waterford Marina Hotel last week, the Hotel is fantastic to stay in, good food and service, the room was comfy and warm with tea\coffee supplied, there was very little noise and this made a big change to some places we have stayed in, the only thing i had a problem with (only small) it took me a few minutes to find out how to get the ESB working and there was no apparent signage from the train\bus station on how to get to the Hotel. This is a great Hotel for a quiet break whether it be a Weekend or a week. Simon Morrison.

I stayed in Waterford Marina Hotel for 1 night in January with a group of girlfriends. The hotel's location is great, just 5 minutes away from the city centre. Check-in was efficient and friendly, and the rooms were spacious, clean and bright. We booked twin rooms and each contained a double and a single bed. Unfortunately one of the girls found a hair in her single bed and a hole in the sheet. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel so I can't comment on this. We found the receptionist to be really helpful when we phoned reception to inquire into where we should eat and socialise in the area. Breakfast the following morning was tasty, with plenty of variety at the buffet. On checking out we were allowed to leave our luggage in a secure room in the hotel until later in the afternoon when we collected it. All in all this is a great 3 star hotel!

We went to Wexford for a friends 40th and decided to stay in the Marina for the night. We arrived at five to four and from the start were treated with the utmost kindness and respect. The food was fantastic and without doubt the nicest main course I've eaten ( the sea bass) and the staff were unbelievable- they couldn't do enough for us. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Marina to any one and at such a price I will more than likely go again.

I've stayed at the waterford marina many times before and i have always found the hotel fine,this time i found the hotel was fine but the walk front at the hotel and walk up to the hotel front was covered in snow and ice and had not been cleared at all,also the walk to the car park was covered in ice and when we were leaving,the member of staff told us to watch our step!! nothing had been placed to make it less slippy and my friend had an accident outside the front of the hotel,if salt or sand had been there it would have made it alot easier to come and go.

Had a great three nights weekend at the Marina Hotel. Food , Staff and Entertainment was great. If it had a pool and leisure centre it would be up there with any four star hotel.

Had a fantastic weekend in the Marina, staff had to be one of the most friendly, attentive and courteous I have ever come across, rooms were lovely , ours had a great veiw or the river with swans and other birds constantly in sight, very relaxing. Food in the restaurant was very good and plenty of it. Buffet Breakfast had every single item you might desire. If the Marina had a lesuire center it would be a very good four star!!! Just one point, if the breakfast buffet was totally self service I think there would be less of a queue at the hot serving area. Danny was the most efficent barman in the lounge and the music was quite good.

Great value for money in these recessionary times. Great location. We were very pleased with everything in the hotel,room was lovely (our room was to the rear and there was some late night/early hours of morning activity going on so not nice if you have to be up early) ,otherwise, food lovely, the staff nice and helpful with everything.We would reccommed this hotel and hope to stay there again in the near future.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Marina Hotel. The room was lovely and the food for both the dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpfull and you also have secure free parking. Great value for money, will definitely use this Hotel again.

Hotel was a in a good location and we had a wonderful view of the river. Staff here are really friendly and very obliging no matter what we requested. Bar staff in particular were great. We were on the 4th floor, so it was very peaceful with no noise from the bar, although there was music in full swing there on both nights. The breakfast was good although I would like to have seen more choices for people who are not interested in full Irish. The bedroom was comfortable to an extent. Duvet was too heavy and barely fitted the bed. The bathroom also could do with a revamp. Having said that, I would stay here again for the peace and quiet it afforded. It costs %u20AC6 by taxi to the town centre. For %u20AC140 for 2 weekend nights, it was great value.

The room we stayed in was basic but clean. The staff were friendly and co-operative, but we didn't eat on site, apart from breakfast which was pretty good. Entertainment was available on both nites we stayed there. Overall all was adequate without going that extra bit to make it a memorable stay. Weather was brill for the few days we stayed.

I would rate this hotel highly. The food was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room overlooking the marina was lovely and of adequate size. There was a party of six of us and noone had any complaints. Very good value for money and i will be back.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel on Sat. p.m shortly after4 o'clock. We could not gain access to a room because the room keys could not be processed at Reception until they were delivered from upstairs. We were in an hurry as we were due at a wedding reception in Dungarvan within the hour. Eventually, after a 10/15 min. wait we did get access to a room. Just a small hitch but very annoying at the time! On Sunday morning we found that the service for breakfast was a little on the slow side initiallly (perhaps due to the numbers of diners?) but this soon altered and we were looked after very well. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The in-room services were good. However, some of the bathroom fixtures could do with an uplift. The Staff were pleasant and most obliging. Pricewise, excellent value and a beautiful location. Would not hesitate to go back again! This was our second stay in this hotel. Rating - Four Star!

hotel was clean, staff were nice location was okay ,hard to get parking as there were people who lived in the apartments sharing the same car park rooms were clean but very warm and no way to ajust heating.Good for couples and hens /stags but families should look else were as there is no pool.

I stayed here with my husband for one night, I would consider this as a tourist class hotel, it is convenient for sightseeing in Waterford. The hotel is very tired and in need of a complete fit out. Our room was very basic and stuffy with no air conditioning. The carpets are old and saggy. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, we were surprised by the quality of the food and the staff were lovely, but the condition of the restaurant area left a lot to be desired. If your not bothered by the the tired decor its fine. but I would definitely not be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Waterford Marina Hotel, it was real value for money. We have 3 Children and they all enjoyed their holiday. The Hotel room was very clean and spacious. There was complimentry newspapers every morning and evening from reception. The staff were really friendly and helpful, escecially with the children. After breakfast the kids were given bread to feed the swans that were on the river outside the hotel. The food was excellent and we will definately be going back next year. The hotel is right in the centre of Waterford, it only took a few minutes to walk into the town and there was a fab park right across the road from the hotel, with two fab play grounds for the kids. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Waterford.

We had a great stay. We jst stayed for one night.The room was clean and a great size.It had a riversde view as requested.The breakfast was absolutely super value and great tasting! The only thing that we felt let us down slightly,was the residents bar. We arrived at about 3.01am and we could not get a late drink! apparently the bar closes at 3.00am.This is totally understandable but nobody had let us know in advance.A warning at check-in would suffice. Staff were all friendly and nice.An enjoyable stay overall. And great value for money.Thankyou Lidal Breaks. Cheers.

we found the staff very friendly.the room was lovely.we had planned on having dinner out but on checking the menue in the bar we were able to have dinner for e10.00 each for one course.we felt in general that our 3 night package was good value and we would recommend it.

Good hotel / location,very good menu,ex food well presented,much better than you would expect for an inclusive b/b and evening meal package,really good entertainment .Staff very very helpful.Nice touch with free morning and evening newspapers.free parking also.

I can not fault this hotel in any way. The staff are very friendly and helpfull, the rooms are spotless clean and the food was lovely. It is about 5 minutes walk into the city center and there is a phone available at reception (free of charge) to book taxis.. I would def recommend this hotel for a city break. its basic but lovely.

Stayed in the Waterford Marina Hotel with my husband for a weekend some weeks back.We found it a joy,very relaxing,and the food was first class.The staff were very nice,and the rooms were spotless.We will be going back there in the future. Bernadette Lawlor, Dublin 10.

We would like to rate this hotel and the experience encountered... 5 stars. The service was excellent and friendly. The food again was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable etc. A wonderful break away and we can not recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar on the evening we arrived, we could choos from the bar or A La Carte menu, thruthfully there was not much of a choice on either. The food was very poor and tasteless. The steak was very dry and fatty, it seemed to have been cooked most of the day and then reheated. The breakfast next morning was very nice. Would be a great hotel if they can improve on the bar/A La Carte foods.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was good and location is perfect. He who matters say that they sell the best pint of the black stuff he has had in a long time. The selection in the very comfortable bar was great and again the staff were lovely. My request for a lake view was honoured. No complaints
