The Victoria Hotel offers the visitor a unique opportunity to relax in a tranquil setting and yet be within 2 minutes walk of Galway's predestrianised shopping area and vibrant night life. Located in Victoria Place just off Eyre Square it is a one minute walk from Galway's Train Station and Bus Station.
Area Information
The hotel is near Eyre Square (renamed John F Kennedy Park) ; an open green park where one can relax or view the many attractions, including the Statue of Paraic O'Connaire ; erected in 1935 in memory of the writer who travelled the roads with his horse and cart.
Travel Information
The hotel is located in the heart of Galway on the corner of Eyre Square, behind the main bus & rail station. Just step out of the front door of our hotel & you are a 2 minute walk from the main shopping area, theatres & nightlife.
Parking
We do not have our own car park, we recommend our guests use a near by multi storey car park called Hynes Yard which offers the following rates: €9.00 daily rate for up to 24 hours parking €2.20 hourly rate. Please get carpark ticket stamped at reception.
Cancellation Information
Please cancel at least 48 hours prior to arrival or you will be charged the 1st night stay.
