What a wonderful place - recommending it to everyone. We availed of their special deal, to just spend some quality time together and celebrate our birthdays. Food is fantastic, staff very friendly and the surroundings are beautiful, with the lake and woodland walks. Just a follow up on another comment elsewhere, we found that if you let the water run for a little while, it will get nice and hot for a shower

My Daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel.The beds were like a comfy 'Soft Marshmallow, and room was away from any noise so sleep came easily.As we have Friends in Co. Cavan we did not spend much time at the Hotel apart from walks on the Nature Perfect grounds and drive way.The location has a lot going for it,Golf Course and delightful view of the Lake.
Would like to stay there again.

The Park Hotel is a gem of a place, food is very good, nice building, excellent evening staff morning staff not so helpful but all are very friendly, located beside a beautiful lake and with a forest on the grounds it a perfect couples getaway

<p>stayed for the pumpkin fest. rooms okay, but the food and staff more than made up for the rooms. I would go back again. The grounds are wonderful. overall really enjoyed the break.</p>

<p>Have to say great spot for hotel.Stepping out side and looking across the lawn at the lake sun shining,what a great start to your day.But wait before that you have to have a shower and have your breakfast.Two small problems no hot water and not enough staff.But that was Saturday Morning .Saturday evening wonderful dinner serived by great staff.Great places to see just a few miles away.Sunday morning no problems with hot water. More staff serving breakfast, better selection of food for breakfast.Over all great weekend.We would recommend the hotel if they have sorted the water problem and the staff shortage.Must take two stars away,as we feel oversea visitors would not come back if they had the same problems.Great value for money.

<p>We stayed at the park hotel for 3 nights in June and had a fantastic time . The walks in the gardens were great as well as the fine food and the very pleasent staff.The management were excellent and knew how to treat the costomers and make every feel welcome. We will be going back for another break.

<p>We stayed in the hotel for a weekend, we had a very enjoyable weekend. And although, some of the hotel's rooms and facilities may need some attention. This was made up for the fact that the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff in the restaurant where equally helpful and obliging, the food was excellent. The grounds where charming and could do with alot of attention, I think if the owners improved this they would get many more visitors. On the whole a very pleasing stay.</p>
