We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the bedrooms were very comfortable and we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. I will definitely
stay here again. The whole area is very scenic and well worth a visit.

We recently stayed in the Maritime hotel in Bantry. We had booked 2 twin rooms for a girlie night away but when one couldn't make it we checked with the hotel on arrival if we could swap to a triple room instead. The hotel was very accomadating and moved us to a one bedroom suite with a lovely balcony and views over the bay.
We used the pool and jacuzzi which was lovely. The rooms had everything we needed ... even a fridge to keep the champagne cool :-) As part of our package we had dinner included which was gorgeous. There was then live music in the bar which was fab. The breakfast the following morning was excellent and was followed by a lovely walk around bantry which was much needed after all the food.
The rooms and corridors were well kept and all staff were lovely and friendly.
All in all we had a great time in the Maritime. Thanks to all the staff.

Stayed in the Maritime Hotel for the Easter Bank Holiday week-end (3 nights). Found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely. Breakfast was very good. Dinner menu changed slightly each evening, but the choice of starters could have been better (only one hot starter - soup). However, overall, I wouldn't fault the food and I most certainly would stay at the hotel again and would recommend it highly. Would also recommend the Spa treatments - both my husband and I availed of massages which were very good. Spa staff also were very friendly and good at their job.

Had a fabulous time the best value ever. The rooms were only great! ! The only bad thing I could say is the entertainment in the bar did not entertain us so we went elsewhere to have a drink. I feel for such a standard of hotel the entertainment was very poor. Will return again and again to stay here

Very nice location and good service. However the evening meal I felt wasn't great. But then again I'm vegaterian so I only had one choice. A dish I would never normally go for with too much cheese and very stodgy.The portions were massive! I really could only eat a third of my plate.The staff were lovely and breakfast was super. The movie service in the room is a great idea and an excellent choice of wine.

It was my 1st time staying at the martime hotel and it wont be my last! was absolutely amazing the hotel was a 4 star rating, bedrooms were fab we booked a double room which was spot on luxury and all photos on the site are exactly the way it is! food was gorgeous, staff were lovely. It made our valentines nite a memorable one!

Stayed here with my husband for three days from Feb 11th to the 14th. Room very nice, very clean and very comfortable. Staff excellent and efficient. Breakfast lovely and choices offered. Parking was free but the entrance to the car park a bit odd and the blue hoarding spoiled the view from the hotel. If this was cleaned up and rectified I would have no hesitation in giving five stars. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.
Bantry is a lovely place and the people were very friendly.

Had a super night away Booked B&B&evening dinner Went to leisure center when we arrived and it was a great start we were so relaxed afterwards Went for a drink in the bar before dinner and there was a great buzz there we'd have stayed only we were famished Went for dinner which was gorgeous The staff were extemely nice and welcoming all round Could have done with a heater in the bathroom as it was on the chilly side Not our first time visiting Hope to do it again before too long

Fantastic value for money The rooms were of a very high standard Found it hard to cotrol the heating though There were eight of us for dinner and it was brilliant The food was of a high standard and the service was efficient and friendly and we enjoyed it so much We spent our night in the bar afterwards and the entertainment and craic were super Went on a recommendation and will return Thanks

This was absolutely fabulous value for money! The hotel was really lovely and right in the middle of everything in Bantry. The staff could not have been more friendly and nothing was too much bother for them. The pool and leisure centre are state of the art and again the staff were wonderful there too. The evening meal which was included in the price was to die for and there was even music in the bar afterwards. Just when we thought it could not get any better the breakfast surpassed all expectations. Anything you wanted to eat was there and as much of it as you could eat. I would highlky recommend this hotel and I cant wait for the next excuse to visit!

Enjoyed the stay. Nice hotel and nice staff, food was good (found the supplement on the steak a little too prices at €6.50 extra). Rooms were clean well laid out and had bottled water , tea/coffee making facilities and ironing board. Bathroom was very nice only thing was the bath towels were a little on the small size ( and I ain't overweight). But really nice spot and I would definitely stay there again. P.S. Found a lovely pub up the road called The Anchor. Lovely Guinness, warm fire and friendly .

Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Hotel just super, interior dark but atmospheric.
Breakfast super.
Dinner - we were a bit disappointed with the main courses = the lamb chops were very tough and the fish was very dry.
Leisure centre good.

Our recent stay in the Maritime hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The staff are excellent and very friendly, any requests were immediately dealt with. We used the spa and the leisure centre, both were fantastic. The food is divine, the rooms are fabulous and the facilities are all round brilliant. Would highly recommend this hotel will definitely return!

The room and hotel itself were really lovely! However the food and service really let the hotel down. We were waiting way too long for surprisingly ordinary food, and any requests e.g. for butter, had to be repeated. This is disappointing. Even at value prices. Are the staff inexperienced or were too few staff on duty? Not sure I could recommend at current service levels. Regards.

We could fault nothing.If i was to say something against the hotel it was the road noise.The hotel gave me an upgrade to a suite and while this was great the noise from the road underneath was loud. However this would not stop me staying there again.</p>

<p>Firstly i m not kocking the Hotel but just pointing out a few comments that can be improved.When we arrived the guy at the desk didn't greet us just saying im not sure how to check you in ,can you just wait for someone to come who can check in.When she came eventually she smiled and checked us in. We found the room clean and very modern and very fresh,When we arrived for evening meal a guy showed us to our table and didnt speak.For the Starter dont try the smoked chicken with fetta cheese very dissapointed 4 tiny wafer slices of chicken dropped on ordinary lettuce no dressing.Main course was very nice The hake we both had.In the morning we arrived down at 9.30 by then most of the hot food was gone and not stocked up again,and the 2 fried eggs that were left were stone cold,but the rest was tasty.On departure we checked out and the recptionist never asked us did we enjoy our stay or anything else.But beggars cant be choosers and it was a cheap break but wouldnt like to be paying top dollar for what we got anyway.Overall 6/10</p>

<p>Enjoyed our weekend break at The Maritime Hotel. Beautiful contemporary hotel, the decor reminds us of the The Ross Hotel in Killarney. Bedrooms are very spacious and well appointed with all the necessary amenities. Luxurious & decadent decor. Top-notch staff, the breakfast & dinner at the hotel restaurant is amazingly good. I've never had soft-shelled crabs until that night and it was delicious! Leisure centre was fab as well. Highly recommended & I would definitely come back here again! Absolutely loved it!</p>
