We had a lovely stay in the Lismore House Hotel, it is a very warm, comfortable hotel. Our room had a lovely view of the castle and was very spacious and comfortable. The food is beautiful in the hotel, we will definitely be back.

4th Nov 2011. This was a lovely affordable break for us. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was good. The Castle gardens were closed from September so it was a disappointment to us at first, but there were lovely walks at Towers for example so it was really lovely. Lismore is a a special place, to be recommended. We hope to return again after April when the Castle Gardens are open again.

We stayed in this hotel for just the one night. Lismore itself is a beauttiful town and we were sorry we didn't have longer in it. From the moment we arrived we were treated very well and the manageress at reception went out of her way to advise us on where everything was and if we needed anything to give her a call. The room was very nice; comfortable spacious and clean. We had booked a overnight B&B with eve dinner - and wans't sure what to expect for dinner as it was very inexpensive. Wow were we surprised. We had one of the best gourmet meal in quite a while, the menu and staff were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.

We thought the lismore house hotel was very good value. Staff friendly and helpful, young waiter could have used a notepad to take breakfast order as he got ours and the table next to us wrong.. not badly, just not right. The dinner and b&b package that we were on was such a good deal one of the staff questioned it ! but was apologetic once we showed him our invoice. All in all a very good value short break.

<p>Enjoyable stay in a friendly hotel in a very pretty town. Definitely good value for money. Staff were excellent - cheerful, and helpful. The lay out of room could be reconsidered - hard to believe that ironing board ever gets taken out of the wardrobe! Also, as always in Ireland, the heating in the bedrooms could be turned down. Good generous breakfast.</p>

<p>To Whom It May Concern, Both myself and my husband had a most enjoyable break at this particular hotel. Our first impressions were very good as was the attention of the staff. The food was fantastic also. The only thing I found to be at fault was the fact that our room was located right beside the air conditioning unit which lead to a noise factor within the room itself.

<p>Stayed over night in this lovely hotel. Room was lovely and spacious, food was great and all the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. Location is good and ideal for families travelling with young children, as there is a children's playground just across from the hotel. another plus is the big car park. What a beautiful clean town and very friendly locals. We will definitely be making a return visit very soon.</p>
