The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, especially the breakfast. The room was clean and as the hotel was pet friendly our dog came with us (stayed in our room). There was a bouncy castle in one of the function rooms which was free for kids and the leisure facilities were good, although changing rooms could do with a little updating. Overall, had a very enjoyable stay at the Jacksons hotel.

The facility was great for a family. There were activities, cinema, and a pool to entertain all and two restraunts available - one casual and one you need to book. Breakfast was great too. I am giving this hotel 2 stars due to our room, which was located directly above the bar. There were Karoke and live entertainment that sounded like it was directly in our room. The room needed updating, dirty carpet, ,and wonky beds.

A great value break moneywise in Jacksons.However hotel services really cut back from previous experience.Room ok shower very dirty.Restaurant service extremely slow -35 minute wait for first course on both nights we stayed.The hotel staff were very welcoming and pleasant .Maybe we just hit a bad time????

Booked 3 rooms over the Easter weekend requesting wheelchair room for elderly person who was subsequently accomodated in the new part of hotel requiring a long walk to lifts, etc. The room was directly over a disco and overlooking a yard where skips of bottles were being emptied all night leading to NO SLEEP..Following a cpmplaint the following morning we were moved to a room in the older part of the hotel which at least was quieter . Barfood was pricey and the breakfast was a shambles - no staff to replenish food supplies. One of the reception staff was most unhelpful to the point of being rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel was very nice and relaxed. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Overall i enjoyed my stay and the was partly due to the warm hospitality form all of the wrokers in the jacksons hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

i would rate the jackson's hotel 5 star, me and my partner really enjoyed our stay, the bedroom was so comfortable, warm and modern. the staff were just so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. and the leisure centre was excellent a very satisfying stay we had and will be returning very shortly....

Stayed in Jacksons on a weekend break in February 2011. Hotel very clean and staff very helpful. Fine large room also. Overall a great stay and great value and would certainly return. Only negative comment is I found the bar food a little pricey. Great stay though !
