we had a lovely stay in this nice hotel over the Easter break.....staff were very kind and friendly, food was excellent and room was very spacious if a bit on the noisy side as it was next to one of the corridor doors which were opening and closing a lot.
Location is excellent and as we use workout a lot having the use of the K Leisure gym and swimming pool in the town was great.
All in all a great experience and we plan to go back again at a future date.

My husband and I stayed here over Easter. I would not recommend this hotel if you are after a romantic quiet getaway. It was full of noisy children running up and down corridors all hours at night. If you are a family looking for a break then this is the place for you, however. Also the fact the lesiure facility was off site was really off putting and for this reason I would not come back here as the thought of driving for a swim/ sauna is not my idea of relaxation and to include this on the website as a part of the service offered by the hotel was very misleading as one could nearly assume that it is located in the hotel itself.
The food in the bar was gorgeous, could'nt recommend the beef option highly enough!!
The room we stayed in was comfortable with a lovely strong power shower, beds were so comfortable and clean and staff were so friendly.

6 of us stayed at the Clanard Court overnight and really enjoyed it. The rooms were excellent. Food in the restuarant was good as were the staff. One downside was the attitude of reception staff - not very pleasant or helpful.

Had a very pleasant stay, we are a family of 5 with 3 younger children and the family rooms were a nice size. Some hotels have family rooms that are really to small to be comfortable, they had dvd tv's in the rooms with a list of dvd's available for the kids (or adults). Good value and nice/interesting dinner menu. Staff were helpful, hotel is nice and quiet, would recommend.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, nice and comfortable. Bed was big and comfortable. Radiator in room was cold. Dinner was fine without being brilliant. Breakfast was good. Hotel was ideal for a midweek quiet getaway.

<p>We stayed for one night in the Clanard Court Hotel Athy.
The Hotel and room were lovely. We decided to have bar food which was fine.
It took us three attempts to get served a drink in the bar eventhough it was not extremely busy.
Unfortunately we were not aware until we arrived that there was a concert on in the hotel that night so there was a lot of noise as people were going to their rooms up until 5am !
Breakfast the following morning was the normal buffet style.
We would go back another time but would check there were no concerts/functions on when we did.</p>
