Benners hotel in Tralee,we stayed there for the weekend had an enjoyable time,rooms were spotless ,food was great and the staff were lovely and very helpfull,the only thing it can be a bit loud at the weekends.

This hotel is centrally located, walking distance to local shops and museum. Car park is access is a very narrow alleyway, which is made even more restricted by the fact the entrance is at a traffic lights (and spaces are limited). You can park in the public car park which is next door (beside local church), but this is not very handy if you want to bring bags in from the car. On check in - Receptionist was friendly and advised there was a problem with the kitchen and there may not be cooked breakfast, but they were hoping to get the problem sorted by the next morning (I had noticed that Trip advisor comments said the same thing last month?). However continental breakfast was provided which was fine and €10 was deducted from the bill (I was advised on check out that the card machine was not working and that my card would be charged later on when the machined was working again). The rooms were nice, very 1990's but I liked the fact that they weren't like a carbon copy of all the other hotel rooms in the country. Room was clean, comfortable with standard tea/coffee making facilities and there was wi-fi. I found reception very helpful with my queries about local attractions and was given a print-out of the local cinema when I asked if she knew what was on in the Cineplex. Overall enjoyed my stay, access to the car parking was the only minus.
