Our stay in bellinter was very pleasant, on a gorgeous sunny sunday which probably added to the relaxation. the bedroom was very spacious and stand alone bath was fabulous with the wonderful yoga products on hand. There was no face cloths and no bottled water in the room however. i didnt avail of spa treatments as they were fully booked. The pool was somewhat rustic but enjoyable all the same. The dinner was fantastic, really tasty food; however the waiter could have been more friendly. the breakfast however was disappointing, i was really looking forward to it after the lovely dinner, but it was cooked to order which meant that u had to wait for everything to be handed to you and you couldn't graze the cold foods, juices, (there was no food at all sitting out) i ordered the hot irish breakfast but the presentation was simple, sausages werent great quality and bacon very salty. overall though a fairly pleasant stay.

I have just recently stayed. In bellinter house. It was absolutely lovely. Very relaxed with friendly staff. I was away with a girlfriend to relax and that was well achieved. The house was busy enough on Sunday with families of all ages. There are lots of spaces to chill out as well as room to mix. The spa and treatments were lovely. The Only thing that could be improved were chairs in relaxation room (not very relaxing) and the showers in the changing too
It was hard to get into them. Little things but would make a difference. I will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone. I think it would be amazing as a wedding venue.

i stayed at bellinter house for a one nite stay . there were 7 ladies celebrating two 60th birthdays.. It was amazing ... there is nothing that i could say was wrong.
the staff were excellent. they went out of their way to help in every way they could.
we stayed in the stables and every thing was just as we wanted...the combination of the old and the new was beautiful...
we are hoping to book again for april....we do not want to go anywhere else....

What an amazing experience! This was our second visit to Bellinter and we're already counting down the days til we return. It's such a relaxed, chilled out place, but with excellent service. The food in Eden was fantastic and the atmosphere in the drawing room where we lounged with a drink and/or the papers was wonderful. Unfortunately we didn't have time for a spa treatment, but the sauna with it's full wall of glass and the outdoor hot tub overlooking the river were stunning. I've read a few negative reviews and really some people don't get it! If you would prefer a brand new hotel in a boring modern building then Bellinter is not for you. But those who appreciate amazing architecture, cool, relaxed interiors and wonderful food, you'll have the time of your life.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was very relaxing. It is a cosy hotel with the drawing room being the main place to relax to have a cup of tea or drink but this was a nice addition to the usual hustle/bustle of larger hotels. The staff were top notch, professional but didn't over do it. We also had a treatment each which was fab in the spa. Dinner in Eden restaurant was beautiful, I had the fish, delic! I would definitely go back here. Rooms were nice, 6ft bed, 42inch TV, plus tea-cakes in the room! Also, the website to hotel doesn't seem to have any picture of the swimming pool so I guessed it would be tiny but it is a good size infinity pool with an outdoor hottub also. Only thing, google maps will mislead you to this destination, we got lost on arrival using it..

This was our first break away sans kids for over 2 years so we were really looking forward to it. And we were not dissapoinnted. The reviews about the 'shabbiness' of the hotel had caused me some concern but I have to admit this only added to the lovely ambience of the place. And I would not have called it shabby in a negative sense, shabby chic would be more a better description. Bellineter is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in for a long time. The comfort comes from the old, well worn and well used furniture, the huge log fire in the drawing room and the snug, comfy, airy bedrooms. The food in Eden restaurant was delicious, we were really impressed with breakfast. Eggs Benedict!! And should you only go for the B&B option the food in the drawing room menu was definately appealing though not sure if I could give up the gorgeous food in Eden! We will definately be returning to Bellinter House in the near future. Thanks to all there for a great break away from reality.

Excellent food and accommodation. Staff very friendly. Good value for money. The background music which was being played all the time was very out of place. Pop much does not suit a fine establishment such a this.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bellinter, our room was in the East Wing, most comfortable. The food was excellent, and we availed of the Spa, had seaweed baths. The staff were helpful and cheerful.
We certainly would recommend Bellnter and look forward to staying there again

We stayed for one night with dinner included & had a lovely time. this represents very good value for money. However they do need to pay attention to the little things eg. swimming pool quite cold, room quite cold, limited selection of drinks in the bar ( no Guinness on draft) Ifr they sorted these things it would be quite close to a 5 star experience. Would we go back ?.....................Yes.

I really enjoyed our stay at Bellinter House. It is so close to Dublin (only 45 min drive) and yet it feels very peaceful and quiet.
The hotel was very quiet, only a few other guests during our stay in January but very relaxing. Also great to use the swiming pool and spa. The food was wonderful, the rooms very comfortable and it was excellent value for money
We will definitely be returning to Bellinter House

Bellinter House was beautiful, everyone was very welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Loved the outdoor hot tub which I didn't know was there, then chillin out in front of an open fire before a gorgeous dinner in Eden - would recommend it to everyone and know I will definitely go again.

Amazing value for money! Wonderful hotel with fantastic food and very helpful staff. We upgraded the room for a small extra charge. My only criticism would be the pool was a little bit "cool" - so we stuck to the outdoor hot tub instead. Will definitely be back - and would definitely recommend!
