We stayed in the Arlington for two nights last week. It's a great location. We stayed on the fourth floor, view was not great and the room could do with a fresh coat of paint, but it was a good size and was spotless. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and will be returning some day.

stayed at arlington with my teenage daughter for short midweek break. Csnnot fault it in anyway staff very friendly and helpful, very clean nice rooms. ideal location a M s we could walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. I stayed with my friend for a weekend in jan 2012, we found the rooms to be very clean but would recommend an upgrade on the showers. It is an ideal place to stay as it is right in the middle between the shopping district and the night life of templebar just over the bridge, so you have the best of both worlds. The inhouse food was lovely and very reasonable and the staff were very friendly. We will definately return for another visit.

Fabulous stay....only used it as a base. Could not be more central. Staff were fantastic, very helpful and pleasant. Receptionist and porter could not have been more helpful and Carmel attended to all our breakfast requirements with a very welcome and caring way, much appreciated. We certainly had service with a smile. The hotel should be very proud of their staff. Car parking facilities were on a first come, first served basis, and were in short supply. We got the last space in the basement, not really a carpark but did the trick. It really helped having the space as it saved a lot of hassle etc and would be a must when we stay again. Looking forward to it already !!!! Thanks to all for kick starting our Christmas and wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

We\stayed in this hotel for four nights in November.It offered fantastic value for money and the city centre is second to none.All the staff are very friendly and the room was ver comfortable.I would definitley recommened a stay here.

Dear Sir,
A group of us from Tramore I.C.A.16 in total stayed at the Arlington hotel for two nights, 25th and 26th November. We had a wonderful time couple of days. This was made possible by the excellant staff who made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. Special mention for Mags on reception who was most accomodating. The entertainment was excellent on both nights, and the hotel being so central was a big plus. This was my second time staying at the Arlington and will certainly be back.

Had a wonderful weekend in the Arlington...could not find fault. Staff were alll very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent. We were able to park two cars in the underground car park for the weekend which was brilliant as we had bags of shopping to offload on Sunday morning. I would recommend the hotel for the location in town and the fact that it has a car park really was a plus for us. I would have no hesitation in returning again in the future.

Myself and my teenage daughter stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel staff were lovely and the breakfasts were very nice. Our room was on the first floor and we were kept awake both nights by the music from the bar until after 3am. Our room was near the lift and we could hear the hum of the lift all the time. Also we could hear people talking/laughing etc getting in and out of the lift all the time. If you are staying with children I would suggest that you request a room on the higher floors and away from the lfts.

just back from arlington hotel. very comfy really big bed. huge tasty breakfast. very central to shopping and nightlife. hotel spotless clean. we booked this hotel because we were driving and they offered free parking. we rang hotel and they said if you book a room they require you to ring the morning your due to arrive and they would hold a parking space for us .we confirmed this point before booking. however this seemed to be a ploy to get us to book their hotel, because on the morning we were setting off we rang only to be told we had no guarantee of parking and if we would ring 15 minutes before we arrived in dublin we would then find out if we had a parking space, otherwise we could avail of the gervise street parking lot at a price. . we had at this stage paid a booking deposit which is non refundable. i felt tricked . i pushed for a parking space which we eventually got one but i had to argue with reception to get it , not a nice start to a relaxing break. having said that we did enjoy our stay and would recommend it, just clarify the parking situation, before you book.

A very convenient for city centre. Rooms are adequate but Televisions are ancient and very limited choise of programmes.
Staff are most helpful.
The carvery area is dark and dowdy and the food is average. You will pay top prices for your drinks in the lounge and bar.
I would stay again mainly for convenience.

Had a lovely break - celebrating my girlfriends 21st birthday.Everything was perfect, really good value, very central hotel and given a nice room as requested. Couldn't fault it except being woken up one morning by the fire alarm going off at 6.50am!This was a kitchen error apparently but we did not receive an apology which would have been appreciated.

The hotel couldnt be in a better location, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and well appointed on the 4th floor nice and quiet.
Breakfast was as good if not better than many 4* hotels - if returning to Dublin i wouldnt hesitate staying here.

had agreat night in the Arlington Hotel. For %u20AC49 we got our bed breakfast a dinner and entertainment thrown in. We had an Irish night with our meal. There was music and dancing in the bar and there was a quiet piano barfor those who wanted something quieter. Couldn't ask for more and the hotel staff were excellent. There was no problem leaving our luggage there before check in and after check out. Great value

<p>Room was lovely and also location is amazing!
Free parking which was surprising given the location, very nice employee came down and meet us at the car and brought our bags up.
Only issue was at night time the bar came across a little seedy. It was a sunday night and maybe it just happened to be the crowd there.</p>

just brilliant from the reception to the bar, restuarant, breakfast and bedroom staff were all so friendly and so helpful we would have to mention Carmel of course and the two girls in the Sinatra bar, had a great meal there, one was called Norenga and Joanne. Have stayed at the Arlington before and will definately stay there again.</p>

<p>I thought the hotel and its staff were excellent. I didnt like this idea of inserting card to gain access to the lift as me and other guests had problems using the electronic cards. Also I thought the price of drinks were very high. I had to pay E1.10 for a dash of lemonade, I would have thought with the price of the spirit the dash would have been free, this is not a criticism of the hotel or staff but maybe needs to be reviewed. The hotel is in a perfect location.

<p>We had a wonderful experience on a recent overnight stay in The Arlington Hotel.The carvery being served was quite tasty and very reasonably priced.The hotel rooms were spotless and finally and by no means least,Mags and her team were fantastic and so courteus to deal with.I would certainly not hesitate in recommending this hotel to both family and friends.Also its locality is perfect for the casual tourist.

<p>Great location, hotel is average. Try not to get a room on the first floor as it has a night club underneath it. Also if you get adjoining rooms you can hear everything in the next room. Reasonable value for money though.</p>

<p>great hotel, perfect location for everything!! staff lovely and so child friendly towards children, rooms very nice, but way too hot, even though we had the window open a little as you couldnt open fully!!! it was like a sauna, also heard others saying it to the lady on reception, but i did hear her offering a fan! Its a basic hotel, nothing fancy, nice freshly cooked breakfast, Breakfast chef-man very friendly and cheerful,- keep him!!! (hes a great way about him, he should be managing the hotel,) house keepers downstairs very friendly also, The only thing i would say truthfully is that just inside the door where seats are as you walk in looks a bit grubby and not very welcoming!!! first impressions very important to the public eye!!! great value for money!!!! hope to stay there again in the next few weeks,</p>
